April 23rd is a special day in our family—it’s my youngest sister’s birthday.

Now here’s the thing… she is 30 years younger than me.

And while I have two other sisters closer to my age (and I love them dearly), RJ is something completely different.

She’s the sister I didn’t even realize I was missing.

💛 A Surprise Gift

By the time RJ came along, I was already well into life.

And then suddenly, here comes this little person who would grow up to become not just my sister… but someone who brings so much joy, creativity, and connection into my life.

She truly was a gift I wasn’t expecting.

🎨 The Creative One (And My Built-In Tech Team 😄)

If you’ve seen my posts, my graphics, my Instagram… that’s RJ.

She’s the one behind the scenes making everything look good and keeping me connected.

In fact, she set up my Facebook page years ago and wrote this in my “About” section:

“I am perky, bubbly, and fairly outgoing. I LOVE my dogs, Hunter and Baxter, and my husband, John. I love my family (especially my littlest sister)! I look about 15 years younger than I am, but I don't believe it when people tell me that.”
(She doesn’t believe it… but she doesn’t look a day over 33!)
“I love my red Mustang convertible!!”

Honestly… she nailed it.

(And she’s been making me look good ever since 😄)

We didn’t grow up together the way most sisters do.

We’re from completely different generations.

But somehow, that’s part of what makes it so special.

Different perspectives. Different experiences.
But the same connection.
