Mother’s Day is here — a time to honor the women who raised us, guided us, and probably taught us how to properly fold a fitted sheet (or at least tried). Whether your mom was the queen of casseroles, the CEO of carpool, or the woman who could turn a house into a warm, welcoming home with nothing more than a candle and a strategically placed throw pillow, today is about her.

As a real estate agent, I talk a lot about houses — square footage, open floor plans, kitchen updates, curb appeal. But if we’re honest, it’s moms who turn houses into homes. No appraisal can measure the value of a mom’s love — though if it could, I’d be handing out cash offers above asking.

To all the moms…

You’ve been my compass, my biggest cheerleader, and occasionally, my unofficial life coach. I know I was probably the hardest of all your kids — let’s be honest, I had opinions from day one. But that just makes me more lovable, right?

You loved me through every strong-willed stage, every wild idea, and every time I "helped" around the house by rearranging furniture. I owe my grit, my humor, and probably my obsession with making every space feel like home — all to you. Thank you for being the heart of our family.
